Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Food & Beverage Manager for a leading hotel and conference center in Queenstown, Eastern Cape.

You will oversee all F&B operations across multiple restaurants and bars, drive profitability, cost control, and high service standards through strong leadership.

This role offers scope to lead a diverse team, develop menus with culinary partners, and collaborate with other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 6+ years in Food & Beverage management with 2+ years in a senior role.
• Proven track record in driving revenue and profitability in F&B.
• Strong leadership, management, and team-building abilities.
• Knowledge of culinary trends, menu engineering, and wine programs.
• Experience with POS systems and F&B software.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily F&B operations across multiple outlets.
• Develop strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and efficiency.
• Oversee menu planning, development, and costing with culinary teams.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L responsibilities.
• Lead, train, and motivate F&B staff to high standards.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Oversee inventory, procurement, and cost control.
• Execute marketing and promotional activities for F&B outlets.
• Address guest feedback to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments for seamless service.
