Job summary

Type 40 Events in Auckland, NZ, is seeking a superstar Event Producer to join our senior team as we launch into a wide array of events for the rest of 2026 and beyond, both in New Zealand and internationally.

You'll join a highly-respected creative event management and design agency in a strong growth phase, delivering end-to-end event management for some of NZ's most well-known companies, with a team that goes all out to make it happen.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in event management, ideally at senior account manager/senior producer level.
• Ability to manage end-to-end events for major clients.
• Strong work ethic, meticulous, calm under pressure, humorous and hands-on when required.
• Willingness to work both in Ponsonby office and from home with flexible hours.
• A creative flair would be a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional end-to-end event management to well-known NZ companies.
• Lead and manage events across NZ and internationally through 2026 and beyond.
• Collaborate with a passionate team to deliver outstanding client experiences.
• Apply senior-level expertise to strategy, production, and on-site delivery.
• Balance office-based work with flexible WFH arrangements and a four-day work week.

Type 40 is one of New Zealand's leading event management companies, and we're after a superstar Event Producer to join our senior team as welaunch into a wide array of events for the rest of 2026 and beyond, both in New Zealand and internationally.

You’ll be joining a highly-respected creative event management and design agency, in a significant growth phase with exciting clients. You’ll be providing exceptional end-to-end event management to some of New Zealand's most well-known companies, and willbe joining a passionate team who go all out to 'make it happen' for our clients.

We'll be looking for someone to jump straight into the role at a senior level, so you’ll need to have had significant experience in the event managementindustry, ideally at a senior account manager / senior producer level.

You’ll have an excellent work ethic, be all over the details, calm under pressure, possess a great sense of humour, and not be afraid to get your hands dirty if it’s required. Creative flair would also be a bonus.
