Role OverviewAs Senior Event Producer, you'll take the lead on complex, multi-day conferences, gala dinners, awards nights, product launches and training days across New Zealand, for 150 to 1,000 people and significant budgets. You'll own the full lifecycle of each project, from brief, strategy and creative concept through to on-the-ground delivery and post-event wrap, often juggling several events at different stages at once. No two days look the same, and it calls for strong leadership, sharp attention to detail and confident communication with clients and stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage events end to end: brief, strategy and creative concept through to delivery, bump-out and debrief
Build trusted client relationships through clear communication, efficient delivery and effective troubleshooting
Lead the team staffed to your events
Manage budgets, timelines, suppliers and event finances, including registration and delegate management (via Cvent or equivalent), to deliver commercially successful outcomes
Identify inefficiencies and opportunities across your projects, and contribute ideas on strategy, pricing and resourcing, refining SOPs and ways of working
Act as a brand ambassador for Lime Events with clients, sponsors, speakers and suppliers
3+ years' experience planning and delivering corporate events and/or conferences end to end.
2+ years in a management role leading project teams, with a focus on quality, stakeholder experience and results.
Outstanding organisational, time management and communication skills, with the discipline to balance multiple priorities and see every commitment through.
A collaborative approach, building confident, professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, clients and suppliers.
Sound judgement balancing logistics with the bigger picture, managing budgets, risks and competing priorities to deliver strong financial and non-financial outcomes.
A calm, adaptable approach: solving problems quickly, thinking on your feet, and pushing on when plans change.
A continuous improvement mindset: asking why before proposing how, and using data, feedback and market insights to enhance event effectiveness and engagement.
A strong understanding of AI, with a keen willingness to learn and progress your skills as event technology evolves.
Genuine passion for events and creating impactful experiences.
You may also have experience in financial services, professional services, communications or marketing, and a relevant qualification in a related field.

We deliver events all over New Zealand, so travel is a regular part of this role, expect multiple travel days across the year to be on the ground where the event is. Event work also ebbs and flows: some weeks are full-on, others much quieter. We value flexibility and flexible working, and support our team in balancing the busy weeks against the quiet ones.
