Job summary
The Office of the Ombudsman seeks a Senior Engineer - Modern Workplace & Applications to own the Microsoft 365 tenant, device fleet and business applications while ensuring security and continuous improvement. You will be the technical owner for Dynamics 365 and SharePoint content management, and liaison for Business Central.
Based in Wellington or Auckland, you will collaborate with business owners and vendors to deliver modern, scalable solutions and coach the DAT team as capability grows
Qualifications
- Experience administering a Microsoft 365 tenant including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune and Defender/Purview.
- Experience leading or supporting Dynamics 365 CRM implementations and SharePoint/content migrations.
- Ability to work with external providers, manage incidents and changes per ITIL practices.
Responsibilities
- Own Microsoft 365 and related services to ensure secure, well-configured operations.
- Lead Dynamics 365 CRM and SharePoint technical work and migrations; partner with business owners.
- Coordinate with Information & Knowledge Management, Finance and vendors to deliver solutions.
- Coach the wider Digital and Technology team and promote in-house capability.
