Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology environments with hands-on software development in compiled languages (Rust, C/C++, Go).
• Software systems engineering experience in foundational tech areas (databases, OS, compilers, networking, cybersecurity, virtualization).
• Experience in R&D, prototyping or exploratory technical environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and build core components of edge computing and spatial intelligence platforms.
• Develop an edge runtime and integration platform connecting data from home devices.
• Help build models and knowledge structures making device/home information usable by edge apps and intelligent agents.
• Move complex ideas from concept to prototype and production, enabling rapid testing and iteration.
• Evaluate technologies based on scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Provide architectural guidance and review code/designs to uphold engineering practices.
• Collaborate with Innovation, IoT, mobile, embedded firmware and other teams.
• Contribute to R&D planning and turn promising ideas into new projects.
• Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative, high-quality engineering culture.
