Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology environments with hands-on software development in compiled languages (Rust/C/C++/Go).
• Software systems engineering experience in foundational tech (databases, OS, compilers, networking, cybersecurity, virtualization).
• Experience in R&D, prototyping, or exploratory environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and build core components of Resideo’s edge computing and spatial intelligence platforms.
• Develop an edge runtime and integration platform to connect data from home devices.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
• Provide architectural guidance, review code, and promote strong software engineering practices.
• Collaborate with Innovation, IoT systems, mobile, and embedded firmware teams.
