Job summary

Stellar Recruitment Pty is seeking a capable Drainage Lead for Auckland projects with a civil contractor client. You will lead drainage crews, coordinate daily site operations, and work closely with Project Managers to ensure on-time delivery to specification.

The role requires strong stormwater and wastewater knowledge, ability to read plans, and a valid Class 1 licence. Drainlaying qualification is advantageous for progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading drainage crews.
• Strong stormwater and wastewater knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret plans.
• Full Class 1 licence required.
• Drainlaying qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage crews across multiple sites.
• Coordinate daily work programmes.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Drive productivity and site performance.
• Enforce health and safety standards; liaise with clients and subcontractors.
• Monitor quality and project deadlines.
• Mentor and develop team members.
