Job summary

Redpath Partners are representing a newly created Project Engineer role to join their Queenstown operation. The successful candidate will work on drainage and land development projects, supporting self-performed crews and ensuring programs, budgets and quality outcomes are met on challenging site work.

Qualifications

• Supports delivery from planning through to completion.
• Works with a self-performed site team to keep projects on programme and within budget.
• Role blends engineering, commercial awareness and onsite leadership.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the engineering and commercial delivery of projects
• Assist in construction methodologies and work programmes to maximise productivity
• Monitor project performance by tracking costs
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews to deliver safely and to spec
• Manage contracts, project documentation, and variations / progress claims
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and provide proactive solutions
• Foster relationships with clients, consultants, authorities and stakeholders through clear communication and collaboration
