Job summary

Seequent seeks an accomplished Technology Operations leader to drive secure, scalable infrastructure and software delivery. You will oversee cloud platforms, CI/CD tooling, observability, and security programs while partnering with Engineering, Product, and Security leaders.

You will guide a global team focused on reliability, incident management, and operational excellence, with a strong emphasis on cost optimization and governance in a fast-paced product environment.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in technology leadership roles guiding platform engineering, infra, SRE, or security teams.
• Experience building shared technology platforms, cloud infra, CI/CD, observability, and tooling.
• Deep DevSecOps expertise and secure platform engineering practices.
• Strong reliability engineering, incident management, and metrics-driven improvement.
• Experience supporting security, privacy, and compliance programs in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Technology Operations strategy aligned to reliability, security, resilience, and cost.
• Lead development and operation of shared cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and tooling.
• Oversee application security program and vulnerability management across software delivery.
• Drive secure, reliable build/deploy systems enabling fast software delivery.
• Monitor performance with SLOs/SLIs, incidents, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Security to support governance and audits.

You will drive operational excellence across cloud platforms, developer tooling, application security, and technology operations while partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and Security leaders.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Define and execute the Technology Operations strategy, aligning reliability, security, resilience, and cost objectives with business and engineering priorities.Lead the development and operation of shared cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, observability capabilities, HPC infrastructure, and AI/ML development environments.Establish and oversee Seequent’s application security program, embedding secure development practices and vulnerability management across the software delivery lifecycle.Drive secure, reliable, and scalable build and deployment systems that enable fast and efficient software delivery.Define and monitor operational performance through service reliability targets, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.Own the operational readiness and security of production and build infrastructure, including monitoring, logging, access controls, and resilience planning.Partner with Information Security, Legal, and customer-facing teams to support security, privacy, compliance, audits, and customer due diligence requirements.Lead FinOps and cost optimization initiatives while managing cloud services, SaaS platforms, and engineering productivity tooling.Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global Technology Operations organization focused on collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.To be successful in this role, you should have:A tertiary qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.10+ years of technology leadership experience, ideally leading platform engineering, infrastructure, SRE, operations, or application security teams in a global product organization.Proven experience building and operating shared technology platforms, including cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and engineering tooling.Deep expertise in DevSecOps, secure platform engineering, infrastructure-as-code, application security testing, and modern vulnerability management practices.Strong knowledge of reliability engineering, incident management, and the use of operational metrics to improve performance and resilience.Experience supporting security, privacy, compliance, and assurance programs in regulated or audit-driven environments.Executive-level stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align leaders across Engineering, Product, and Security.Exceptional communication and organizational leadership capabilities, with experience building and developing high-performing global teams.Strong financial acumen with experience managing cloud spend, technology investments, forecasting, and cost optimization programs.Additional InformationOffice-based role requiring attendance in a Seequent office 3 or more days per week.Tier 3 after-hours support may be required occasionally.Flexibility in working hours may be required to support collaboration across global time zones.Responsible for leading a team of managers, senior managers, directors, principals, and technical leaders.Works closely with cross-functional teams to influence technology strategy and delivery outcomes.Work Mode: Office-based#LI-CG2Our Commitment to Equity, Diversity, and InclusionAt Seequent, we champion the uniqueness of each individual.
