Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager Snowflake Solution Architect to lead data engineering initiatives. You will design Snowflake-based architectures, build scalable data pipelines, and model data to deliver robust data products and interfaces for end-users.

The role involves mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across teams in a flexible, office-based setting. Preferred location is Wellington with options for Auckland or Christchurch.

Qualifications

• Experience designing Snowflake platforms and data architectures.
• Ability to model data and design scalable ingestion pipelines.
• Experience integrating Snowflake with ecosystem tools and data platforms.
• Strong SQL skills and data querying capabilities.
• Proven track record in technical leadership or mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design Snowflake-based solution architectures and data models.
• Build and optimize scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines on Snowflake.
• Ingest and transform data, and integrate Snowflake with other tools in the ecosystem.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data needs into technical solutions.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members.
