Gentrack Ltd is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Auckland to lead and optimize a scalable Data & Analytics platform. You will drive AI-powered insights, mentor engineers, and design robust ETL/ELT pipelines across multiple clients in APAC.

You will work with Snowflake Cortex AI, Python, SQL, and AWS services to deliver secure, high-performance analytics solutions and contribute to the transition from traditional BI to AI-enhanced dashboards and automated reporting.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of Data Engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Proven ability to evolve data engineering processes, tools, and platform standards to support AI and advanced analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex AI for natural language querying and AI-driven insights.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to the data engineering platform, tools, and processes to stay scalable, secure, and AI-ready.
• Lead design, build, and optimisation of Snowflake architecture with Cortex AI integration.
• Mentor engineers on data integration, modern data engineering practices, and solution design.
• Develop and manage robust ETL/ELT processes using SQL, Python, and AI-enabled frameworks.
• Configure and administer AWS services for storage, integration, and security.
