Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Principal Consultant Data & Analytics to design, implement and own modern data platform solutions for diverse clients. This client‑facing role emphasizes strong communication, leadership and pre‑sales engagement to shape winning proposals and delivery.

You’ll lead technical architecture and delivery across Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake and Databricks, mentor developers, and collaborate with practice leads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years’ experience in EDW design and implementation.
• 8+ years’ experience in ETL architecture and design.
• 8+ years’ experience in data modelling.
• 5+ years’ experience in semantic layer development.
• 3+ years’ experience in Power BI architectures.
• 3+ years’ experience in pre-sales solutioning and client presentations.

Responsibilities

• Shape proposals and solution designs with sales during pre-sales engagements.
• Lead client presentations and solution walkthroughs to articulate value.
• Identify upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather business requirements.
• Lead architecture, design and delivery for Modern Data Platform solutions.
• Provide thought leadership on data analytics and AI in data platforms.
• Perform performance tuning and audits on data platforms.
• Deliver documentation, training and knowledge transfer to clients and teams.
• Mentor developers as SME in data platform/warehouse architectures.
