Job summary

Datacom is seeking an Azure-focused Solution Architect to design modern cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will engage with customers, shape opportunities, lead delivery teams, and contribute to implementation across the full solution lifecycle.

You will guide architectural decisions, ensure robust, scalable designs, and collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to deliver outcomes aligned with client objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Broad technical background across application development, cloud platforms, APIs, integration, data, and modern engineering practices.
• Experience leading technical teams and providing architectural guidance in a delivery environment.
• Ability to engage with customers and facilitate technical and business discussions.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Azure-based solution architectures across applications, integrations, data, and AI capabilities.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, facilitate workshops, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead delivery teams, provide architectural guidance, and govern integration patterns, API strategy, and event-driven design.
• Stay engaged with implementation activities through reviews, spikes, and hands-on development when needed.
• Support pre-sales activities, estimates, and customer presentations to shape opportunities.
• Ensure solutions align with architectural principles, security requirements, and customer objectives.
• Promote engineering excellence, reusable patterns, automation, and DevOps across teams.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
