Job summary

SHENG SIN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to develop schedules and oversee delivery of projects on time and within budget.

You will manage day-to-day construction activities, respond to delays and emergencies, and ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements. The role requires leading a project team, strong communication, and the ability to establish relationships with clients, consultants, regulators, and suppliers, while proactively

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a Construction Project Manager for projects above S$10 million
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent
• Ability to lead a team and respond to changing needs
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of project processes, building regulations, and health & safety
• Proactive, self-motivated and goal-oriented
• English and Mandarin languages required

Responsibilities

• Develop construction project schedule
• Deliver project on time, to budget and to other agreed success criteria within corporate guidelines including the client requirements
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction management of the project and provide timely updates
• Respond swiftly to work delays, emergencies, and other problems
• Ensure compliance to all governmental and building regulations
• Make sure all staff, contractors and suppliers are very clear on the project needs, requirements and schedule
• Establish good communication and working relationships with client, consultants, government agencies, contractors, suppliers and staff
• Manage project team, all site staff, site works, materials and equipment effectively and efficiently
• Identify possible risks to project and stakeholders, as well as create contingency plans to mitigate these risks
• Monitor and supervise entire project team to ensure compliance of work
