Icon Group seeks a Design Manager to oversee design activities across multiple construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations. You will collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers and contractors to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in architecture, construction management or engineering; 7+ years in design management on large-scale projects (>$100m); and strong leadership, communication skills, plus knowledge of PM

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management or engineering.
7+ years of design management experience in construction.
Experience with head contractor / builder.
Experience on large-scale projects (>$100m).
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of PM tools and construction contracts.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee design activities across multiple construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors for timely, cost-effective project delivery.
Develop and maintain design schedules and budgets, providing regular updates on progress to senior management.
Review project specifications and contracts, identifying design requirements and constraints, and resolving design-related issues.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date design records and documents, managing the design process from development to approval.
