Job summary

Lion Pty Ltd in Auckland is seeking a Finance Analyst on a 6 to 9 month fixed-term basis to turn data into practical business insights. You will partner with Marketing to understand performance, identify risks and opportunities, and influence commercial decisions.

The role is based in Auckland with hybrid working in line with policy, reporting to the Head of Finance - Sales & Marketing as part of our wider Finance team.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in a commercial, financial or analytical role.
• Strong data manipulation and analytical modelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Marketing to deliver analysis and commercial insights.
• Own Marketing spend reporting, analyse variances and forecast spend.
• Ensure costs are accrued and balance sheet reconciliations maintained.
• Support forecasting, planning and monthly brand reviews.
• Support Innovation P&L and relationships with external brand owners.
• Use data modelling to deliver ad hoc analysis and explain insights.
• Help embed forecasting and reporting platforms with data quality.
