Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island Limited is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join our team in Auckland. You will deliver financial analysis, data interpretation, modelling and reporting to support one of Gilmours' key strategic projects.

You will perform category management analytics, provide insights on buying position for categories and suppliers, and support negotiation strategies. Strong Excel, SAP/COGNOS and BI skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Commercially savvy with experience in analytics-based roles.
• Experience in FMCG/retail/wholesale analytics and insights.
• Numerical mindset with ability to transform data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver financial analysis, data interpretation, modelling and reporting for category management projects.
• Provide crucial analysis of buying position for categories and suppliers.
• Support buying lead team with negotiation strategy and targets.
• Measure and report impact of changes to Members and Leadership.
• Enhance reporting capabilities using BI tools for actionable insights.
