Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a Senior Project Controller to lead cost, schedule and risk across Hawke's Bay civil projects from the Napier office. The role emphasizes strong commercial controls and a hands-on approach to keeping programs on track.

The ideal candidate brings 12-15+ years' civil project controls experience, with proven forecasting, earned value and change-control skills, and the ability to partner with project teams.

Qualifications

• 12-15+ years' experience in civil engineering project controls environment.
• Strong capability in planning, scheduling, cost management, procurement and risk management.
• Proven experience with forecasting, productivity analysis, earned value reporting and commercial controls.
• Confident communication, analytical thinking and the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
• Solid systems capability, including spreadsheet and project controls tools, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, forecasting and performance reporting across civil projects.
• Support cost control, earned value reporting, cashflow forecasting and cost-to-complete analysis.
• Manage change control, trend analysis, scope changes, variations and project close-out activities.
• Contribute to risk management, delay analysis and mitigation planning to protect project outcomes.
• Work side by side with project teams to strengthen systems, improve reporting and lift project controls capability.
