Job summary

Fulton Hogan in Napier, Hawke's Bay, is seeking a senior Project Controller to drive cost, programme, reporting and risk across complex civil projects from our Napier office.

You will work with project teams and leaders to keep projects on track, spot issues early, and support smart decisions. The role requires 12–15+ years' experience in civil engineering project controls and a strong ability to manage forecasting, earned value, and commercial controls.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years in civil engineering project controls environment.
• Strong capability in planning, scheduling, cost management, procurement and risk management.
• Proven experience with forecasting, productivity analysis, earned value reporting and commercial controls.
• Confident communication, analytical thinking and the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
• Solid systems capability, including spreadsheet and project controls tools, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, forecasting and performance reporting across civil projects.
• Support cost control, earned value reporting, cashflow forecasting and cost-to-complete analysis.
• Manage change control, trend analysis, scope changes, variations and project close-out activities.
• Contribute to risk management, delay analysis and mitigation planning to protect project outcomes.
• Work side by side with project teams to strengthen systems, improve reporting and lift project controls capability.
