Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager for its Civil business in Central Auckland. You will lead financial performance, contract management and risk across a major project around the $350m mark while supporting the wider civil portfolio.

You'll provide trusted advisor input to senior leaders, build client and supplier relationships and drive commercial discipline with strong governance and reporting. A CA/CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of commercial management experience in the construction industry.
• Experience leading commercial functions on mid to large civil projects.
• Qualified accounting or quantity surveying credential (CA/CPA preferred).
• Strong client and supplier relationship management with governance focus.

Responsibilities

• Own project financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, reporting cashflow and working capital.
• Lead contract management with suppliers and subcontractors, handling variations and claims.
• Identify, assess and mitigate commercial and financial risks with proactive reporting.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure effective communications and progress.
• Support the Project Director in managing client expectations and commercial issues.
