Job summary

BCD Group is seeking a Chartered Senior Civil Engineer for our Auckland office. You will lead the civil offering, deliver practical solutions alongside project managers and technical specialists, and mentor engineers as we expand in Auckland.

The role combines technical delivery with business development, strengthening client relationships and contributing to the growth of our Auckland civil team.

Qualifications

• Competence in Civil 3D.
• Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering, CPEng.
• Self-starter with drive to deliver quality solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem solver with eye for detail.
• Commitment to providing the best outcomes for clients.
• Able to work autonomously and within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Nice to have knowledge in water treatment, wastewater treatment, reservoir, large pipe & pump.

We are looking for a Chartered Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing multi-disciplinary consultancy in Auckland. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the growth of our civil offering in Auckland.

Working alongside project managers, clients, and technical specialists, you’ll deliver practical, fit-for-purpose solutions that create lasting value. Beyond project delivery, you’ll have the opportunity to help drive the growth of our Auckland business through client engagement, relationship building, and business development initiatives, positioning our civil team as a trusted partner in the market.

As a senior leader within the office, you’ll mentor and support emerging engineers, foster technical excellence, and help build a high-performing team culture. Working closely with the Auckland Office Manager and Civil Discipline Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening our local presence and shaping the future direction of the Auckland civil team.
