Job summary

Ara Poutama Aotearoa – Department of Corrections in Whanganui invites applications for a Principal Case Manager. You will provide leadership and operational management for the Case Management Team, guiding professionals who support people in custody to reduce re-offending and to enable reintegration.

Qualifications

Experience in case management and/or Community Corrections leadership.
Experience managing resources and leading teams.
Strong relationship management and communication skills.
Ability to influence, motivate, coach and mentor others.
Ability to think critically and coordinate change.
Understanding of Hōkai Rangi strategy and Corrections values.
Experience working with Māori and Pacific Peoples.

Responsibilities
