Job summary

Kiwibank is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead analysis across discovery, design and delivery, shaping future-state processes and connected solutions across Banking and Retail. You’ll work with stakeholders to understand needs, map data, and drive agile delivery while leveraging AI to enhance customer interactions.

You’ll engage in workshops, partner with engineers, and contribute to our transformation journey, ensuring high-impact outcomes and measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead business analysis across discovery, design, and delivery phases.
• Strong understanding of data needs, data analysis, data mapping & data modelling.
• Experienced in eliciting and documenting user stories and requirements collaboratively.
• Confident in supporting testing and delivery in agile environments.
• Experienced in Salesforce implementation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Proficient in business process improvement and documentation.
• Banking domain knowledge (preferred but not essential).

This is a high-impact role in an area critical to delivering our purpose of making Kiwi better off and enabling our growth aspirations. You’ll lead the analysis effort and work collaboratively with stakeholders to define business needs, shape future-state processes, and deliver connected solutions that enhance both Business and Retail customer experiences. This includes supporting customer journeys from early engagement and lead conversion through to meeting evolving needs as customers progress through different life stages. From facilitating workshops to working with engineers, you’ll be central to driving innovation, how we utilise data to unlock actionable insights and leveraging evolving AI capabilities to better engage with customers at the right time with the right message and in the right channel and reduce complexity for our customer facing team. You’ll also play a key role in agile squads, supporting testing and delivery, and contributing to Kiwibank’s transformation journey.

For this role we’re looking for a Business Analystwho thrives on solving complex problems, continuous improvement and translating business needs into actionable outcomes. We would love to hear from you if you have experience in the following:

• Proven ability to lead business analysis across discovery, design, and delivery phases
• Strong understanding of data needs, data analysis, data mapping & data modelling
• Experienced in eliciting and documenting user stories and requirements collaboratively
• Confident in supporting testing and delivery in agile environments
• Experienced in Salesforce implementation
