Job summary

BNZ is seeking an Associate to join the Onboarding team in a hybrid role based in Auckland or Wellington. You will guide customers through the onboarding process, review applications, and perform due diligence in line with BNZ policies.

You’ll interact across digital and phone channels, ensuring a smooth, compliant entry into BNZ services. You should bring a customer-focused mindset, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Experience with customer onboarding processes and KYC/AML due diligence.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with attention to accuracy.
• Able to manage multiple onboarding applications and respond to customer inquiries promptly.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer onboarding requests through digital and phone channels.

Demonstrated KYC/AML and customer due diligence experience is essential, including onboarding personal customers and assessing a range of entity types such as companies, trusts and partnerships, incorporated societies. As one of the first points of contact in a customer’s journey with us, you’ll help guide customers through the onboarding process, from their initial application through to establishing their accounts. You’ll work across digital and phone channels, answering questions, following up on applications and making the process as easy as possible for our customers. This is a permanent, full time role that can be based in Auckland or Wellington.
