Job summary

AllRecruits in Tauranga is seeking a Contract Business Analyst for a 12-month-plus assignment. You will identify current state processes and collaborate with the business and solutions delivery teams to document future state requirements.

Responsibilities include modelling processes, eliciting and documenting requirements, and building scenario models to support decisions. On-site 2–3 days every other week; start within 1 month of offer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a dedicated technical Business Analyst.
• Degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with requirement gathering, modelling business processes and facilitating workshops.
• Experience writing business cases and specifications.
• Understanding of database structures and relational theory.
• Strong presentation skills across multiple levels.
• ERP experience, ideally SAP ERP.

Contract Business Analyst

We are currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a 12-month-plus contract who will be responsible for identifying and documenting the current state and then working with the business and the solutions delivery teams to identify and document future state requirements. The role will be involved in extensive requirement gathering and process mapping.

Responsibilities

• Identify and modelling of business processes
• Eliciting, analysing and documenting business requirements
• Developing scenario models and capturing metrics to support decision-making
• Establishing business relationships with functional units
• Creating detailed business analysis outlining problems opportunities and solutions
• Working with functional units to translate and simplify their requirements
• Conducting analysis and research on business problems
• Assist with the introduction of solutions to representative business units
• Design, implement and support business application software
• Build relationships with key stakeholders
• Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analysis
• Able to be on site in Tauranga 2 or 3 days every other week
• Able to start within 1 month of offer

Qualification

• 5+ years of experience as a dedicated technical Business Analyst
• Degree in computer science or related field
• Extensive experience with requirement gathering, modelling business processes and designing and facilitating workshops
• Extensive experience writing business cases and specifications
• Strong understanding of database structure, theories and principles
• Strong oral and written presentation skills (Business Cases, Specifications, etc….) across multiple levels of the organisation
• Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices
• Supply Chain Experience or Food Safety Quality Experience
• ERP experience, ideally SAP ERP

Nice to have Experience

• ERP experience with SAP is desired
• Experience delivering in a multinational organisation
• Experience with Signavio
• Experience delivering cloud-based solutions and other non-SAP best-of-breed solutions
• Experience in a Supply Chain, Fruit Quality or Agri business and SAP desired
