Job summary

Frequency is implementing a new core business system and SharePoint-based document management solution. We seek an Implementation Business Analyst to support from design through go-live and adoption, reporting to the CFO and collaborating with the Implementation Lead.

This 6‑month, on‑site contract in Eden Terrace, Auckland, focuses on requirements translation, process design, data migration and UAT planning.

Qualifications

• Strong process mapping, requirements documentation, and analytical skills.
• Stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation across business levels.
• Experience mapping data flows and integration dependencies between systems.
• Understanding data migration: cleansing, mapping, validation, testing.
• Experience in UAT planning, scenarios and defect management.

What’s the opportunity?

Frequency is a construction project management consultancy. We partner on complex projects across the built environment and value relationships, integrity and delivering real value for our clients.

We’re implementing a new core business system and SharePoint-based document management solution and are looking for an experienced Implementation Business Analyst to support the project through implementation, go-live and adoption.

Reporting to the CFO and working closely with our Implementation Lead, you’ll help translate business requirements into practical processes and system outcomes. You’ll work with stakeholders across Frequency and support process design, systems integration, data and document migration, user acceptance testing, change management, training and business readiness.

This is a contract role for approximately six months, based in our Eden Terrace office.

What you’ll do

• Map current-state processes and design practical future-state workflows for the new PSA/ERP system
• Facilitate workshops and engage with stakeholders across the business to confirm requirements, understand impacts and support implementation decisions
• Document business requirements, process workflows, functional specifications, data flows and system dependencies
• Work closely with the Implementation Lead to ensure business requirements are understood and reflected in system configuration and implementation decisions
• Map data flows and integration requirements between the PSA/ERP system, document management solution and other business tools
• Support data migration activities, including data cleansing, mapping, validation, testing and reconciliation
• Work with the Implementation Lead on document migration planning and the transition to the SharePoint-based document management solution
• Develop UAT scenarios, acceptance criteria, test cases and supporting documentation
• Help coordinate testing through to sign-off, including maintaining defect and issue logs and supporting the resolution of testing feedback
• Prepare process documentation, change management materials, user guides, training collateral and communications content
• Support change management and business readiness activities to drive user adoption and address pain points associated with the outgoing system
• Contribute to go-live readiness, transition activities and post-implementation support
• Embed good health, safety, wellbeing and sustainability practices in how we deliver change

What you’ll bring

• Strong process mapping, requirements documentation, functional specification and analytical skills
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills, with the confidence to work across all levels of a business
• Strong systems integration and data capability, including experience mapping data flows, integration requirements and dependencies between business systems
• A solid understanding of data migration principles, including cleansing, mapping, validation, testing and reconciliation
• Practical experience supporting or coordinating UAT, including developing test scenarios and acceptance criteria and managing defect and issue logs
• The ability to work autonomously, establish relationships quickly and contribute with minimal ramp-up time
• A pragmatic and flexible approach to business analysis that balances best practice with risk, quality and delivery pace
• Experience in professional services, consulting, engineering, construction, infrastructure or another project-based environment would be advantageous
• Familiarity with PSA/ERP platforms such as Deltek, Projectworks, Vantagepoint, Total Synergy or comparable systems would be beneficial
• Exposure to SharePoint or other document management system implementations would be beneficial
• Formal Business Analyst certification, such as BABOK, CBAP or equivalent, would be desirable but is not essential
