Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification in accounting, commerce or finance.
  • Proven experience as a finance analyst or similar role.
  • Hands-on budgeting, forecasting or planning experience.
  • Strong Excel skills and data-driven problem solving.
  • Exposure to sales/marketing a bonus, not required.
  • ABILITY to adapt to evolving processes and work pace.

Responsibilities

  • Support annual planning, quarterly forecasting and monthly reporting.
  • Prepare reporting and analysis for effective financial management.
  • Collaborate with multiple business units across sales, marketing and value streams.
  • Respond to ad hoc analysis requests with curiosity and detail.
  • Own and improve data, models and processes underpinning reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and reduce manual effort.

Our Decision Support team is a high performing team that moves at pace, andwe’relooking for a proactive Finance Business Analyst to join us. This is a great opportunity for an established analyst who has built solid foundations in financial planning, reporting and analysis, and is ready to take ownership of how things are done– with a clear pathway to develop into business partnering and more forward-looking commercial workover time.

About the role

Reporting into the Decision Support team,you’llprepare reporting and analysis that supports effectivefinancial managementand decision-making, while owning and improving the data, models and processes that underpin our reporting.

We’reevolving our ways of working, soyou’llneed to be comfortable working through ambiguity when the path is not always clear.

This role will evolve with you. As youdemonstratecapability, there will be opportunities to take on more forward-looking analysis and develop towards a business partnering career path.

Whatyou’lldo
  • Supporting the delivery of the annual business planning, quarterlyforecastingand monthly management reporting processes

  • Preparing reporting and analysis toassistin effectivefinancial managementand decision-making

  • Working with a portfolio of business units across sales,marketingand value streams

  • Responding to ad hoc analysis requests with curiosity,initiativeand attention to detail, even when the briefisn’tfully defined

  • Owning and improving the data, models and processes that underpin our reporting

  • Bringing a genuine passion for continuous improvement – proactivelyidentifyingopportunities to streamline, automate and reduce manual effort across our processes, rather than waiting to be asked

Whatyou’llbring
  • A relevant qualification, e.g., accounting, commerce / finance, economics or related

  • Proven experience in a finance analyst or similar role, with a solid understanding of how the general ledger,budgetingand financial planning processes work

  • Hands-on experience supporting budgeting,forecastingor planning cycles

  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to use data toidentifytrends and solve problems

  • Exposure to sales and marketing functions (a bonus, not a requirement)

  • The learning agility to pick up new systems – experience withTechnologyOne, Power BI or SQL is an advantage

  • Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication, both verbal and written

  • Proactive and comfortable moving at pace, with the initiative to progress work without needing every answer to be clear-cut before you start

  • The ability to effectively prioritise and manage your workload, shifting between tasks whenrequired
