BDO Rotorua is seeking an experienced Senior Business Advisory professional who wants more than a standard accounting role. You will work with clients to understand their businesses, identify opportunities and provide practical, commercially focused advice while developing your leadership and advisory skills in a locally owned firm.

Formación

• 5+ years’ Business Advisory Services experience within a New Zealand CA firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a CA qualification or equivalent.
• Strong commercial acumen and the confidence to have meaningful conversations with business owners.
• Experience reviewing work and supporting or leading other team members.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and financial reporting skills.
• A proactive, practical and solutions‑focused approach.
• An interest in continuing to develop your technical, advisory and leadership capability.

Responsabilidades

• Providing high-level business, financial and structuring advice
• Building trusted, long-term relationships with clients
• Identifying business challenges and developing practical, tailored solutions
• Reviewing financial reporting and work prepared by the wider team
• Using your commercial and technical expertise to support client growth and decision‑making
