Placements24 is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a hybrid role in Queenstown to bridge business needs and technology in banking projects. You will elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements for complex banking initiatives, ensuring solutions align with strategic objectives and regulatory demands.

The role requires strong banking knowledge, exceptional analytical and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking/financial services.
• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis using Agile or Waterfall.
• Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and regulatory environments.
• Proficiency with UML and BPMN.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with project management and SDLC.
• Ability to work in a hybrid in-office/remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for banking systems and process improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather detailed requirements.
• Develop BRDs, functional specs, and use cases.
• Facilitate workshops and validate requirements with stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
• Support testing, including UAT, to ensure solutions meet requirements.
• Analyze existing processes and identify optimization opportunities.
• Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
• Act as liaison between business units and IT throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to project planning and management activities.
