Westpac Nelson is seeking a Senior Banking Adviser to lead the lending journey end-to-end in our Nelson branch. You’ll guide customers from first home to investment, deliver clear, tailored advice, and mentor colleagues in lending and regulatory best practices.

• 3+ years in banking and/or lending.
• Level 5 Residential Lending Qualification (or working toward it).
• Strong knowledge of lending, banking products, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Digital confidence, with ability to coach customers and colleagues.
• Experience building relationships, influencing outcomes, and supporting or mentoring others.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical, customer-centric decision-making.
