Placements24 is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and the Spring framework. This fully remote role allows you to contribute from anywhere while shaping the backend strategy and mentoring junior engineers.

You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust APIs, manage relational and NoSQL databases, and implement security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a CS/engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional backend development experience.
• Expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
• Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Proficient in designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with Git and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
