Job summary

Aon Corporation in Auckland, New Zealand, invites an Associate Director to lead a portfolio of financial lines clients within our Professional Risks division. You will shape client risk strategies, manage renewals, negotiate with insurers, and coordinate the wider Aon team to deliver integrated solutions across D&O, PI/E&O, cyber, crime and management liability.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated client management experience across a large, complex portfolio.
• Strong financial lines product knowledge, including D&O, PI/E&O and cyber.
• Experience developing and executing client risk and insurance strategies.
• Experience leading renewal strategy, program design and placement, including negotiations with local and international insurers.
• A track record of identifying and converting new business and expanded opportunities.
• Experience coordinating internal stakeholders to deliver integrated client solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead renewals and insurer negotiations for a portfolio of key accounts.
• Shape client risk and insurance strategies across D&O, PI/E&O, cyber and broader management liability.
• Coordinate with broking, claims, analytics and global colleagues to deliver integrated solutions.
• Identify growth opportunities and lead client pitches and go-to-market strategies.
