Job summary

Pinnacles Civil is seeking a Senior Asset Manager to lead strategic asset management across civil infrastructure assets in New Zealand. You will collaborate with clients to maximise asset performance and value while guiding the lifecycle planning and investment programmes.

This role requires extensive NZ civil engineering and asset management expertise, with a focus on delivering practical, commercially focused outcomes for local authorities and private sector clients.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years' experience in the civil engineering industry.
• At least 5 years' dedicated experience in asset management.
• Proven experience delivering asset management services on civil infrastructure projects in New Zealand.
• A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand asset management frameworks, lifecycle planning and infrastructure management practices.
• Experience with RAMM, Juno Viewer or other recognised asset management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of strategic asset management plans for civil infrastructure projects.
• Develop long-term asset strategies, lifecycle plans and investment programmes with clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with local government, government agencies and private sector clients.
• Undertake asset performance assessments, condition evaluations and risk-based decision making.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset performance, whole-of-life cost outcomes and service delivery.
