Job summary

Pinnacles Civil is seeking a Senior Asset Manager to lead strategic asset management across civil infrastructure projects in New Zealand. You will guide lifecycle planning, investment programmes and asset performance initiatives, working with clients and authorities to maximise value and deliver practical, durable infrastructure outcomes.

With 10–15 years in civil engineering and at least 5 years in asset management, you’ll bring deep knowledge of NZ frameworks and RAMM/Juno Viewer experience,

Qualifications

• 10-15 years' experience within the civil engineering industry.
• At least 5 years' dedicated experience in asset management.
• Proven experience delivering asset management services on civil infrastructure projects within New Zealand.
• A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand asset management frameworks, lifecycle planning and infrastructure management practices.
• Experience with RAMM, Juno Viewer or other recognised asset management systems.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development and implementation of strategic asset management plans for civil infrastructure projects.
• Working alongside clients to develop long-term asset strategies, lifecycle plans and investment programmes.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with local government, Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency and other key stakeholders.
• Undertaking asset performance assessments, condition evaluations and risk-based decision making.
• Identifying opportunities to improve asset performance, whole-of-life cost outcomes and service delivery.

The opportunity:

As Senior Asset Manager, you'll provide strategic and technical leadership across the full asset lifecycle, partnering with clients to maximise the performance and value of critical infrastructure assets.

You'll work closely with local authorities, government agencies and private sector clients, delivering practical, commercially focused asset management solutions while helping develop and grow Pinnacles Civil's asset management capability nationwide.
