Job summary

Tiaki Wai is seeking an experienced asset management leader to shape the future of water infrastructure through strategic leadership and a high-performing team. You will provide people leadership across the asset management practice and enable confident investment decisions for resilient water services.

You will unite perspectives into an integrated strategy, partner with stakeholders, and influence executives with evidence-based recommendations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams in asset-intensive or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary asset management principles including ISO55000 and strategic asset planning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Set direction and performance expectations for the team; coach and develop people.
• Drive development and continuous improvement of asset management systems and planning frameworks.
• Oversee strategic condition assessment programmes and translate data into practical planning and investment recommendations.
• Integrate growth forecasts, levels of service and future demand into long-term investment strategies.
• Provide trusted advice to executives to support evidence-based decision-making.
