Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking an Asphalt Paving Manager to lead the delivery of our asphalt programme across Central Otago in New Zealand. You will oversee paving, milling and hand-lay operations, coordinate site crews, plant, and subcontractors, and ensure work is delivered safely, on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder engagement to drive high-quality outcomes and commercial performance.

Qualifications

• BE, NZCE, diploma-level engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years' relevant paving/civil experience.
• Proven leadership and people development capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of asphalt paving works across Central Otago and manage safety, quality and programme delivery.
• Plan ahead, coordinate people, plant, materials and subcontractors to keep work moving.
• Manage pricing, tenders, quotes, estimates, programmes and change control.
• Build strong relationships with customers, crews and key stakeholders.
• Champion health, safety, environmental, quality and productivity performance.
