Job summary

Datacom is seeking an experienced Applications Packager to lead packaging, testing, and deployment of business applications across BAU and project initiatives. You will manage discovery, packaging, troubleshooting, and deployment support while collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

The role requires 5 years in IT with ~3 years in application packaging, strong knowledge of packaging tools (InstallShield, Master Packager) and OS platforms

Qualifications

• 5 years IT industry experience, with ~3 years in application packaging.
• Knowledge of packaging tools such as InstallShield and Master Packager.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with endpoint management platforms (SCCM, Intune, Workspace ONE, Jamf).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end packaging, repackaging, testing, and deployment across BAU and project work.
• Manage application lifecycle activities including discovery, packaging, troubleshooting, deployment support, and optimisation.
• Collaborate with project teams, customers, and stakeholders to plan and deliver packaging projects on time and within budget.
• Produce and maintain documentation, standards, and knowledge resources for service delivery.
• Resolve packaging and deployment issues to ensure high service quality.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance performance and reduce costs.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and proactive communication.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, solution design, and scoping efforts.
