Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a hands-on Senior Android Developer for an ASAP-start six-month contract to work on a key mobile application. You will contribute across Android, iOS and backend areas, building features and integrating APIs while supporting testing and releases.

The role requires strong Android expertise, with familiarity across MVVM, Kotlin, and CI/CD. You may also contribute beyond Android, and must have the right to work in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Experience across Android architecture components and MVVM/Clean.
• Ability to work across Android, iOS or backend would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on senior Android development across the full mobile lifecycle.
• Build features, integrate APIs and authentication services.
• Support automated testing, CI/CD, and release management.
• Provide production support and monitoring for deployed apps.
