Kiwibank is seeking a strategic, commercially minded portfolio professional to connect demand, investment and delivery to the bank's strategic targets. You will manage enterprise intake, triage, prioritisation and hand-off, and build integrated roadmaps across business and delivery teams.

You will enable governance, provide practical recommendations, and help leaders understand trade-offs to move enterprise priorities forward while improving portfolio processes and stakeholder experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in portfolio management, PMO or strategic planning roles.
• Strong commercial acumen and customer focus.
• Advanced analytics, reporting and recommendation capability.

You will help connect demand, investment and delivery activity to Kiwibank’s strategic targets and customer outcomes, while building trusted relationships across the organisation. With exposure to key planning, prioritisation and performance conversations, you will deepen your portfolio expertise and help shape the choices that align to our purpose to make Kiwi better off.

Turn enterprise demand into clear, decision-ready insight and help connect portfolio activity to Kiwibank’s strategic targets. You will manage the weekly Enterprise Front Door rhythm, helping business owners to shape and strengthen demand and coordinate initiatives through intake, triage, prioritisation and hand-off.

You will support key enterprise planning and performance rhythms, including quarterly prioritisation, capacity planning, insight development, outcome tracking and follow-through. Working across business and delivery teams, you will help build integrated roadmaps to show how current and planned activity contributes to strategic and customer outcomes.

You will identify gaps, dependencies, sequencing choices, value opportunities and capacity constraints, bringing constructive challenge where inputs need to be strengthened. Through clear commercial insight and practical recommendations, you will help leaders understand choices, trade-offs and actions required to move enterprise priorities forward while identifying opportunities to improve portfolio processes, systems and the stakeholder experience along the way.

For this role, we’re looking for a strategic, commercially minded and collaborative portfolio professional who can connect the detail, challenge constructively and turn complex information into clear choices and action. We would love to hear from you if you bring:

• Proven experience in portfolio management, PMO or strategic planning roles


• Strong commercial acumen and customer focus


• Strong analysis, reporting and recommendation capability


• Governance support and executive forum experience


• Confidence to challenge and improve inputs and processes


• Advanced Excel, Power BI or equivalent reporting skills


• Sound judgement and an outcomes focus


• Strong stakeholder management and influence


• Experience in working within a strategic environment
