Placements24 is seeking a Senior Air Traffic Controller for a key facility in Queenstown, NZ. You will direct air traffic safely within assigned airspace, using radar, communications and data processing systems to maintain situational awareness and provide timely clearances.

Lead and mentor junior controllers, participate in ongoing training, and ensure adherence to stringent safety procedures. Requires ATC license, 5+ years' experience, and ability to work rotating shifts on-site.

Qualifications

• Valid Air Traffic Controller License and Ratings from the relevant aviation authority.

About the Role

Our client, a critical aviation infrastructure provider, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Air Traffic Controller to join their team at a key facility in Queenstown, Eastern Cape . This pivotal role involves managing and directing air traffic safely and efficiently within assigned airspace, utilizing advanced radar, communication, and navigation systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining situational awareness, making critical real-time decisions, and coordinating with pilots and other air traffic control units. We are looking for a candidate with an exemplary safety record, extensive experience, and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure. Key Responsibilities
