Job summary

Westpac New Zealand is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst, Shared Services Advisory, to strengthen operational resilience and third‑party risk governance across Shared Services. You will partner with stakeholders to investigate issues, drive improvements and ensure robust controls in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Hybrid role with centrally located offices in Britomart; WFH available. Experience in risk, governance, and supplier risk is ideal, with travel to Auckland once per month

Qualifications

  • Experience in operational resilience, third-party or supplier risk, governance, compliance, operational risk, or business improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Commercially minded approach to risk.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes.
  • Banking or financial services experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Auckland location preferred, open to applicants from elsewhere in New Zealand.
  • Occasional travel to Auckland (once per month) at candidate's expense.

Responsibilities

  • Provide risk and governance expertise across third-party risk and operational resilience.
  • Support risk reviews, investigations, remediation activities, and business improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations that strengthen risk management outcomes.
