Job summary

Onfire is a New Zealand-based independent creative agency known for branding, packaging, campaigns, digital and print. We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead client relationships, scope projects, manage timelines and budgets, and coordinate our creative team to deliver outstanding work.

You will also shape internal marketing and events to tell our story. You will collaborate with Directors to keep priorities on track, manage multiple projects, and help develop the Onfire brand both for

This isn't your typical agency account management role.

Yes, you’ll lead exciting client projects across branding, packaging, campaigns, digital and print. You'll be the trusted partner our clients rely on, keeping projects moving, teams aligned and ideas turning into exceptional work.

But you'll also help shape Onfire itself.

We see our own agency as one of our most important clients, so part of your role will be leading our internal marketing, communications and events—helping tell our story, celebrate our work and create memorable experiences for both our clients and our team.

What you’ll be doing

Leading client relationships

• Building trusted partnerships with a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Understanding client businesses and identifying opportunities to add value.
• Presenting work with confidence and guiding projects from brief to delivery.

Project management

• Scoping projects and preparing estimates.
• Managing timelines, budgets and resources.
• Briefing our creative team and keeping projects moving efficiently.
• Ensuring every project is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard.

Championing the Onfire brand

• Treating Onfire as one of your key clients.
• Coordinating our LinkedIn, website updates and marketing activity.
• Organising client events, launches and studio initiatives.
• Helping prepare award entries, credentials and agency presentations.
• Supporting internal communications and contributing to our culture.

Supporting our creative leaders

• Working closely with our Directors to keep priorities on track.
• Coordinating meetings, presentations and key deliverables.
• Helping create space for our creatives to do what they do best.

About you

You're someone who genuinely enjoys making things happen.

You love bringing order to complexity, building lasting client relationships and being the person everyone trusts to keep things moving.

You'll likely have:

• 5+ years experience in an agency Account Management or Project Management role.
• Experience across brand, packaging, campaigns or communications.
• Outstanding organisational and project management skills.

• Confidence managing multiple projects at once.
• A proactive mindset and a calm approach under pressure.
• A natural ability to build relationships with clients and creative teams alike.
• Bonus points if you've worked with FMCG, retail or packaging brands.

This full time role is open to New Zealand residents based in our Takapuna office.
