Job summary

Distinct Studio in Christchurch New Zealand is seeking an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day management of client accounts, ensuring clear communication, keeping projects moving, and delivering exceptional client experiences.

You will organise projects, timelines, deliverables and client communication, prepare shoot plans ahead of content days, attend shoots, and collaborate closely with the creative team to turn client objectives into clear briefs.

Qualifications

• Experience managing client relationships in an agency, marketing, or creative environment.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts.
• Strong communication skills, professional written and verbal.
• Experience coordinating shoots and content production timelines.
• Ability to identify opportunities to improve accounts and deliver value.

About you

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day management of our client accounts, making sure communication is clear, projects stay moving and clients always know what is happening next.

This is an experienced position, so we’re looking for someone who has previously managed clients, projects or accounts in an agency, marketing, media or creative environment.

You’ll be someone who:

• Is exceptionally organised and good at managing multiple moving parts
• Communicates clearly and professionally
• Is comfortable giving direction and keeping projects on track
• Understands creative, content, marketing or production workflows
• Can balance what the client wants with what the creative team needs
• Enjoys being around people and being involved in shoots and production
• Notices the small things that make clients feel genuinely looked after
