Job summary

Xero Limited is seeking a Data & Analytics Enablement Lead to own how finance, HR and other teams access and interpret data. You will define the enablement roadmap, set guardrails for safe self-service, and design working patterns that empower teams to answer their own questions.

Based in Auckland, Melbourne, or Sydney, the role blends in-office collaboration with hybrid work from home, with a focus on building scalable capability and responsible data practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Track record designing and running enablement or change programs that shifted data usage.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across Finance, People, and other functions.
• Experience with modern analytics stacks: SQL, cloud warehouses, dbt, and BI dashboards.
• Translate complex data concepts into clear, practical guidance for varied audiences.
• Define and track adoption, usage and outcome metrics to drive iteration.
• Mentor analysts and business users to raise data capability across the community.

Responsibilities

• Design the data enablement roadmap and learning pathways for Finance, HR and leadership audiences.
• Define guardrails that ensure safe self-service data use and governance.
• Build exemplar analytics experiences like scorecards and dashboards and mature responsible AI usage.
• Collaborate with central Data, BI, Governance teams on capability and platform design.
