Friday 9:30am–6:15pm and Saturday 8:00am–5:15pm; alcohol and drug-free workplace; pre-employment checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience using CCTV and monitoring equipment preferred.
• Good level of fitness for standing and moving around the store.
• Understanding of health, safety and wellness practices in a retail environment.

A bit about the role…

We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic candidate tojoin our Wainuiomata Store.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Preventingany theft or damage from taking place within the store
• Ensuringthere is a high visibility of Security presence during store opening hours
• Ensuring the company image isprotected by maintaining excellent customer service skills

The successful applicant will be a quick thinking, assertivebut polite, with strong attention to detail.

In addition, we are ideallyseeking:

• Basic computer knowledge
• Experience and confidence using CCTV and othermonitoring equipment
• A good level of fitness as the position requiresyou to be on your feet for most of the day
• Understandingof health, safety, and wellness, along with relevant practices withinretail and how to keep our team mentally and physically safe, along with our customers.

This is a part-time position, Friday and Saturday.

You will be rostered between the following hours :

• Friday - 9.30am to 6.15pm
• Saturday - 8am – 5.15pm

Mitre 10 is an alcohol and drug free workplace, andsuccessful applicants will be required to successfullyundergopre-employment testing.
