Job summary

Kahu Security is seeking a Security Technician to install, configure, and test CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems at client sites in the Wellington region. The role involves ongoing maintenance, fault diagnosis, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will liaise with sales and project teams to coordinate installations and service requirements, while delivering high-quality security solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Security Technician or similar role (from the ad).
• Technical knowledge of installation, maintenance and repair of security systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and test security systems at client sites.
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults or issues with security equipment.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients on operation of systems.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of work.
• Coordinate installation schedules with sales and project management.
