Job summary

Aotea Security is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to provide leadership across a growing security portfolio in Auckland, New Zealand. You will drive governance, quality assurance and capability development while supporting BAU operations, transition programmes and strategic initiatives.

You will lead a nationally distributed engineering team, collaborate with senior leaders and client stakeholders, and guide design reviews, asset lifecycle planning and technology refresh across secure

Qualifications

• Significant experience in engineering leadership or engineering management roles.
• Strong background in electronic security, ICT infrastructure, automation, integrated systems, or related technologies.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Experience with governance, quality assurance and engineering standards.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to influence, coach and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience working within complex operational environments.
• Relevant engineering, electrical, ICT or technology qualifications.
