Craggy Range Restaurant in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, is seeking an experienced bartender to join our Front of House team. You’ll expertly craft cocktails, manage beverages, and contribute to exceptional guest experiences in a premium dining environment.

The role includes day, evening, and weekend shifts with a collaborative team dedicated to hospitality excellence and guest satisfaction. Previous hospitality experience and a passion for wine and cocktails are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven bartending experience in quality restaurant/bar settings.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails.
• Solid understanding of spirits, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of bar operations, stock management, and maintaining a clean, organised workspace.
• Ability to stay calm and efficient during busy service periods.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Team player with willingness to support all restaurant operations.
• Confident communication with guests and ability to recommend beverages.
• Desire to continue developing beverage and wine knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary bartender with strong cocktail and beverage knowledge.
• Collaborate with floor staff to ensure seamless guest service and timing.
• Maintain bar stock, cleanliness and organisation for efficient service.
• Support restaurant operations during busy shifts as needed.
