Job summary

Te Arai Links Golf Club in Te Arai, 75 minutes north of Auckland, invites applications for a seasonal bartender role to start in September. You will work in one of our stunning restaurants with exceptional ocean views.

Join a team delivering world-class service, focusing on mixology, wine and spirits, and memorable guest experiences while weekends and evenings are common; NZ Driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Experience in the high-end hospitality industry, including extensive knowledge of mixology, wine and spirits.
• Exceptional communication skills both internally and externally, with the ability to build rapport well with members.
• A high level of organisation and the ability to prioritise with ease.
• Full understanding of the required sequence and standards for a high-end experience.

Located 75 minutes North of Auckland in Te Arai, this role will see you working in one of our stunning restaurants with exceptional ocean views.

About our role

This is a seasonal role to start in September until the end of April 2027.

This pivotal role focuses on a partnership with our Bar Manager to deliver service without compromise, to ensure we are providing a truly world class experience at every turn.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming members and creating unique drinks presented in a high-end stylish manner
• Ability to serve innovative and traditional drinks to a consistently high standard
• Support in leading and training the team in mixology
• Ensure members and guest preferences are noted to enhance their experience and exceed expectations

About you

With a strong service driven attitude you will excel in this position, other experience and attributes that would be beneficial to your success include:

• Experience in the high-end hospitality industry, including extensive knowledge of mixology, wine and spirits
• Exceptional communication skills both internally and externally, with the ability to build rapport well with members
• A high level of organisation and the ability to prioritise with ease
