L’affare, a Wellington coffee pioneer, is seeking a keen part-time Chef for our College Street Café. You will work across the kitchen, bringing creativity to seasonal dishes, prepare cabinet food and items to a high standard, with some baking required. Daily prep, cleanliness and team support are part of the role.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced setting, take pride in food quality and presentation, and be eager to learn from our Head Chef while assisting and training colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

• Completed professional culinary training with industry experience.
• Able to bake as required.
• Pride in quality and presentation of food.
• Willing to learn from Head Chef and train colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cabinet food and menu items to a high standard.
• Assist with daily food prep and kitchen cleanliness.
• Support the Head Chef and wider team during peak times.
• Participate in new seasonal dish development.
